Perene Valley + Chanchamayo Waterfalls Tour
The tour begins with a pickup at 9:30 am from your hotel in San Ramón. We will head north to the Perené district, part of the Chanchamayo province.
The excursion starts with a crossing of the Kimiri suspension bridge towards the Bayoz waterfall, a notable natural site in the area. You will have some free time at this waterfall for a swim before proceeding to the Velo de la Novia waterfall, which has a height of 65 meters (213 feet).
Next, a boat ride on the Perené River will take us to an Ashaninca community, where you will learn about their customs and traditions from their long-standing culture. The community will provide a demonstration of music and dances amidst the natural environment.
The tour will conclude with a visit to a local hacienda where products like coffee, cocoa, and citrus fruits are cultivated, allowing for a tasting experience.
We will return to San Ramón and drop you off at your hotel by 5:30 pm.
