This excursion to Villa Rica will cover the coffee capital of the Pasco region and its natural wonders, including the Lion waterfall and the El Oconal lagoon, ideal for visitors in San Ramon.

Villa Rica Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in San Ramón at 8:30 am for the trip to Villa Rica, known for its speciality green coffee beans which are recognized as a designation of origin.

After approximately one hour of travel, we will cross the Paucatambo bridge, the border between Junín and Pasco. A stop will be made at the Lion waterfall, accessible via a ten-minute walk, where swimming is an option.

Next, we will tour the old town of Villa Rica and visit its main square, featuring a monument in the shape of a coffee pot, suitable for photographs.

We will visit a local coffee shop for a cup of Villa Rica coffee, followed by free time for lunch to explore local cuisine. In the afternoon, we will proceed to the El Oconal lagoon.

Participants can admire the scenery and biodiversity of this water reserve and conclude the day with a fish pedicure, also known as ichthyotherapy, using Garra rufa fish for skin treatment.

The excursion will conclude with a return to San Ramon, with hotel drop-off around 6:30 pm.
