Villa Rica Tour

This excursion to Villa Rica will take you to the coffee capital of the Pasco region and its natural wonders, including the Lion waterfall and the El Oconal lagoon.

Villa Rica Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in San Ramón at 8:30 am to begin the journey to Villa Rica. This region is known for its speciality green coffee beans, which are protected as a designation of origin.

After a road trip lasting just over an hour, we will cross the Paucatambo bridge, marking the border between Junín and Pasco. A stop will be made at the Lion waterfall, accessible after a ten-minute walk, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

Next, we will tour the old town of Villa Rica and its main square, featuring a monument in the shape of a coffee pot—a great photo opportunity.

Then we will visit a local coffee shop to enjoy a cup of Villa Rica coffee, followed by free time for lunch to sample the local cuisine. In the afternoon, we will head to the El Oconal lagoon.

We will admire the biodiversity of this water reserve and conclude the tour with a relaxing fish pedicure, also known as ichthyotherapy, which uses fish such as Garra rufa for skin treatments.

The excursion will conclude with our return to San Ramón, dropping you off at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
