This excursion to Villa Rica will take you to the coffee capital of the Pasco region featuring its natural wonders like the Lion waterfall and El Oconal lagoon, ideal if you’re in San Ramon.

Villa Rica Tour

Pickup from your hotel in San Ramón starts at 8:30 am for the journey to Villa Rica, known for its speciality green coffee beans with protected designation of origin.

After approximately one hour, we will cross the Paucatambo bridge, the border between Junín and Pasco. Prior to arriving in Villa Rica, we will stop at the Lion waterfall, accessible after a ten-minute walk, where you can swim.

Next, we will tour the old town of Villa Rica, including its main square where the monument shaped like a coffee pot serves as a photo opportunity.

We will then visit a local coffee shop for a cup of Villa Rica coffee, followed by free time for lunch to sample local cuisine. In the afternoon, we will proceed to the El Oconal lagoon.

Here, you will admire the scenery and biodiversity of the water reserve. The tour concludes with a relaxing fish pedicure, known as ichthyotherapy, using Garra rufa fish for skin treatment. We will return to San Ramon, dropping you off at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
