On this tour of Sant'Antioco and Calasetta, you'll discover two Sardinian towns, their main attractions, and oldest monuments.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the parking lot of the "Ferruccio Barreca" Archeological Museum at the designated time to start the tour. Are you ready?

The tour will begin with Sant'Antioco, where you'll see the museum's archeological site from the outside, which includes the Roman Acropolis, remains of an ancient temple, and a hypogeum with ancient Punic tombs.

Next, we'll visit the city center to see the exterior of the Forte Sabaudo Su Pisu, a 19th-century fortress, and the Church of Saint Antiochus Martyr, noted for its Paleochristian origins, which also contains the only Christian catacombs in Sardinia.

Afterward, we'll pause at the promenade for you to grab a bite to eat at local restaurants. Following lunch, we'll board a vehicle to head to Calasetta.

Upon arrival, we will admire the Torre Sabauda for its stunning coastal view. We will also visit the City Hall Square, which features the Church of Saint Maurice Martyr and Genovese-style constructions.

Before concluding the tour, we will return to the vehicle to visit the ancient Tonnara di Sant'Antioco and the Mangiabarche Lighthouse. The views here will be remarkable.

Lastly, we'll return to Sant'Antioco, concluding the tour 7 hours later.
