BIBO PARK - Ibiza Botánico Biotecnológico

The BIBO PARK Ibiza Biotechnological Botanical focuses on the conservation of vegetation and the promotion of biotechnological research. It houses over 25,000 plants from 160 species and features the world's first plant piano.

Tour Details

The guided tour begins at the photobioreactor for microalgae growth, which consists of 200 meters of transparent tubes and holds 1200 liters of water. The microalgae serve as fertilizer and significantly contribute to atmospheric cleaning.

Visitors will observe both endemic and extinct species, including some unique specimens. Additionally, a replica of a typical Mediterranean salt cellar, constructed with over 100-year-old stakes, will be presented.

The tour includes stops at the park's atmospheric water generators, where guests can taste pure and untreated water. It will also cover the bee hives and the BIBO PARK lake, a recreation of salt pan habitats, with a passage through the Plato's Corner area. The experience concludes with the interactive plant piano that generates light and sound.

After the one-hour guided tour, guests may independently explore the stunning bonsai collection and aromatic and medicinal plants.
