Fangar Bay Tour

In this tour around Fangar Bay, we will explore characteristic locations of the northern Ebro mouth, including rice fields, mussel beds, and fishing ports.

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Sant Jaume d'Enveja Pier and board a minibus for a journey through Fangar Bay, situated in the Ebro Delta Natural Park.

We will enter the delta and visit the fishing port of Illa de Mar, where we will pause to enjoy panoramic views of the green filter lagoon, the village of l'Ampolla, mussel farms, and the Fangar peninsula lighthouse.

We will explore the port, observe traditional boats, and learn about mussel and oyster cultivation. Additionally, we will use binoculars to spot native birds, including flamingos.

Following this, we will visit the point where the Ebro meets the Mediterranean Sea, an area rich in natural beauty.

We will then proceed to the Zigurat viewpoint, offering views of the island of San Antonio, Garxal lagoon, island of Buda, and rice fields. This will provide excellent photography opportunities.

After a three-hour tour of Fangar Bay, the activity will conclude at the starting point.
