Bustamante Trip

This fantastic trip to Bustamante is the ideal way to discover one of the hidden treasures of Nuevo León. You will visit the famous Bustamante Caves and taste the delicious artisan bread of the region.

Bustamante Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Monterrey. From there we'll take a two-hour minibus ride to the picturesque town of Bustamante.

First, we'll visit the Grottos of Bustamante. After disembarking, it's a 15-minute walk to the entrance. A guide will lead us into the collection of underground galleries where we will explore various caverns and formations including the Ballroom, the Wedding Dress, and the Elephant. The grottos were initially called the Caves of La Palma.

After this visit, we'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch (not included). Following lunch, we will head into the historical center of Bustamante for a walk to view iconic landmarks including the Museum of Simple Things and the Alley of the Kiss.

During your visit, you can taste the artisan bread of the region, made with wheat flour, nuts, cinnamon, and cocoa, all cooked in a stone oven.

After exploring Bustamante, we will return to the minibus and head back to your hotel in Monterrey.
