Description
We will convene at your selected time in Vidal Park to commence our private walking exploration of Santa Clara. Guided by our expert, you will unveil the city’s noteworthy sites and delve into its significant legacy in Cuba's narrative.
Beginning with a brief history of the park, we will then admire the exquisite façade of the La Caridad Theatre, one of the few theaters to withstand the colonial era. Close by, you’ll find the Santa Clara Cathedral and the Provincial Palace.
Next, our route leads us to The Armored Train Monument. This iconic train symbolizes the Cuban Revolution and the Battle of Santa Clara, marking a pivotal moment in the fall of Fulgencio Batista's regime; we will explore its importance during our journey. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum for deeper insight.
Your exploration will include visits to further emblematic locations, including the Revolution Café-Museum and the El Mejunje Cultural Center, where you can appreciate local artistry.
After 3 hours of enriching journey through Santa Clara, we will return to our starting point to conclude our time together.
