Flores Island Day Tour

At 9:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel for a complete tour of the island of Flores. The tour will begin with a minibus ride through the villages of Alagoa and Cedros, leading to the Carlos Machado Museum to learn about the history of the archipelago. Next, we will visit the Ilhéu Furado viewpoint for views of a unique rock.

Following this, we will stop at the viewpoint of Ponta Delgada and then see the islet of Maria Vaz. The route includes the island's seven thermal water lakes, originating from volcanic calderas.

You will also see the basalt columns of Rocha dos Bordões, with several stops at the viewpoints of Portal and Craveiro Lopes for panoramic views of Flores Island. In Lajes, we will explore the local church and its treasures, followed by an hour of free time for lunch. Afterward, we will visit the Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro and the Poço do Bacalhau waterfall.

Finally, we will stop at the Ponta da Fajã viewpoint for stunning vistas before returning to your hotel, arriving at 4:30 pm.
