Flores Island Day Tour

At 9:30 am on the morning of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel for a complete tour of the island of Flores.

We'll hop on a minibus, passing through the villages of Alagoa and Cedros until we reach the Carlos Machado Museum, where we'll learn about the history of the archipelago. Not far from there is the Ilhéu Furado viewpoint, where you'll enjoy views of a unique rock formation.

Next, we'll visit the Ponta Delgada viewpoint, followed by a stop to see the islet of Maria Vaz. We will continue through the island's seven thermal water lakes, all formed by volcanic calderas.

During the tour, you'll observe the basalt columns of Rocha dos Bordões and make stops at the viewpoints of Portal and Craveiro Lopes for panoramic views of Flores Island.

In the municipality of Lajes, you'll explore the local church and its treasures. After an hour for lunch, we'll visit two scenic locations: Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro and the Poço do Bacalhau waterfall.

Finally, we'll stop at the Ponta da Fajã viewpoint for more stunning views before returning to your hotel by 4:30 pm.
