Activity Details
At the arranged time, our team will collect you from your accommodation to commence the journey through the lagoons of Flores Island.
Our first destination will be the Natural Reserve of Morro Alto e Pico da Se, a remarkable area featuring seven volcanic lagoons, such as Negra, Branca, Comprida, and Seca.
As we traverse the trails encircling these lakes, you will encounter lush forests filled with laurels, cedars, hydrangeas, and lilies. This serene environment also boasts several viewpoints that offer breathtaking aerial views of the landscape.
Our adventure continues as we visit two enchanting viewpoints: the Portal viewpoint and the Craveiro Lopes viewpoint. With our cameras capturing memorable moments, we'll then proceed to the village of Lajes, where, if circumstances permit, we will explore a historic whaling factory that highlights the historical relevance of whaling on Flores Island.
Our next destination is Rocha dos Frades, a fascinating rock formation resembling two friars engaged in conversation. Can you spot them? Subsequently, we will visit Rocha dos Bordões, a grand basalt rock formation that invites photography. Be prepared with your camera!
The tour will conclude at Poço Redondo, where you can take a break and enjoy some leisure time in the refreshing crystal-clear waters.
Following a captivating 4-hour journey, we will return you to your hotel.
