Flores Island Lagoons & Lajes Tour

At the selected time, we will pick you up from your hotel to start the tour of the lagoons on Flores Island.

Our first stop will be the Reserva Natural do Morro Alto e Pico da Se, featuring seven volcanic lagoons, including Branca, Funda, Comprida, and Seca.

On the trails, you will encounter laurel, cedar, hydrangea, and lily forests, along with various lookout points for scenic views.

We will proceed to Rocha dos Bordões, a significant basaltic rock formation, with stops at the viewpoints of Portal and Craveiro Lopes. Next, we will go to the village of Lajes to visit an old whaling factory, where we will explore the historical significance of whaling on the island.

Following this, we'll visit the church of Matriz de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, which features a polychrome Renaissance altarpiece in the presbytery. Lastly, we will stop at the Lajedo lookout point for views of the Atlantic and the impressive Rocha dos Frades.

After four hours of touring the island, we will drop you off back at your hotel, concluding the activity.
