Flores Island Lagoons & Lajes Tour

At the selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start our tour of the lagoons on Flores Island.

Our first stop will be the Reserva Natural do Morro Alto e Pico da Se, featuring seven volcanic lagoons, including Branca, Funda, Comprida, and Seca.

On the trails of these lakes, we'll encounter forests of laurels, cedars, hydrangeas, and lilies. Various lookout points are available to admire the view.

We'll proceed to Rocha dos Bordões, a large basaltic rock formation, making two stops at the viewpoints of Portal and Craveiro Lopes. Next, we'll go to the village of Lajes to visit an old whaling factory and learn about its historical significance.

Then, we'll visit the church of Matriz de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, which features a polychrome Renaissance altarpiece. On the way out, we'll stop at the Lajedo lookout point for views of the Atlantic and the colossal rock of Rocha dos Frades.

After four hours of touring the island, we'll drop you off back at your hotel, ending the activity.
