Flores Island Viewpoints Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel for an adventure to the best viewpoints of Flores. Our first stop will be a natural balcony overlooking the villages of Alagoa and Cedros. Next, we'll proceed to the town of Ponta Ruiva and climb to another viewpoint for views of Ilhéu Furado, a volcanic rock in the Atlantic.
After this, the guide will take us to the Carlos Machado Museum, which exhibits agricultural pieces that represent the tradition of the Azores. We will then stop at another viewpoint to admire Ponta Delgada and the island of Corvo in the distance.
Next, we will head to Fajã Grande to see the Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro, accessible via a 2 km trail. After this short hike, we will encounter a large cliff with waterfalls up to 90 meters tall.
You will also have the chance to visit the spring of Poço do Bacalhau and enjoy the views from the Ponta da Fajã viewpoint. With some luck, you may spot the islet of Monchique, the westernmost point of Portugal!
This tour will conclude with our return to your hotel by 1 pm.
