Day Trip Details

The tour starts with pickup from a selected meeting point in La Palma. We will travel by bus to Tajuya Square, a viewpoint showcasing the new landscape from the Tajogaite volcanic eruption. Next, we'll visit El Time, a viewpoint at 594 meters (1950 feet) above sea level, offering views of the Aridane Valley and La Caldera de Taburiente National Park. Following this, depending on the day, we may visit Puntagorda to explore the Farmer's Market or Los Llanos de Aridane. Free time will be provided for lunch; participants should bring a packed meal.

Afterwards, we will ascend to Roque de Los Muchachos, 2426 meters (7960 feet) high, known for stargazing. Scenic views of the Taburiente Caldera and possibly El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife Islands can be observed. The descent will take us along the eastern side of the island with a stop at Los Andenes Viewpoint for views of Barranco de Las Angustias, concluding with a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Snows and La Concepción Viewpoint. The trip lasts 8 hours in total.
