Los Tilos Forest & Charco Azul Day Trip + Rum Distillery Tour

Between 8 and 9:20 am, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point and start touring north-eastern La Palma.

We'll first visit Enamorado Waterfall for views of the palm-covered mountains. Then, we'll stop by the Church of San Bartolo for a coffee before resuming our trip.

Afterward, we'll travel through the village of San Andrés and enjoy a short 30-minute walk through banana plantations to Puerto Espindola. From there, we'll head to Charco Azul's natural pools.

Next, we will visit the Aldea rum distillery to learn about rum production from sugar cane. We'll then visit the viewpoints of La Tosca and Fajana de Barlovento for photo opportunities.

You'll have 1 hour of free time for lunch in Los Sauces before we continue to the Los Tilos Forest Nature Reserve.

We'll visit the reserve's visitor centre to learn about the laurel forest and its conservation. Walking along its paths, we'll appreciate this ecosystem from the Tertiary period.

The day trip concludes between 3:30 and 4:30 pm at the starting point.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from various locations: Fuencaliente, Puerto Naos, Santa Cruz de La Palma, Los Llanos de Aridane, and Los Cancajos.
