Do you want to visit one of the most beautiful villages of La Palma? On this hiking route through Poris de Candelaria, we'll enter a small village located inside a marine grotto.

Poris de Candelaria Hiking Tour

Between 7:45 am and 9:45 am we'll pick you up at the meeting point of your choice and head to the northwest of La Palma. In Tijarafe, we will start the hiking route through Poris de Candelaria entering the Jurado ravine, with rock walls over 600 meters high (1968 feet). We will enjoy views of the La Palma coast during our 7-kilometre hike (4.3 miles) lasting five hours.

We will see the typical coastal flora of La Palma, as well as the birds, lizards and rabbits inhabiting the area. Upon arriving at Jurado beach, a former salt and fish port, we will continue to Poris de Candelaria, a village in a 50-meter-high (164 feet) marine grotto.

You will have one hour of free time to swim and enjoy a picnic before we return.

Finally, we will walk back to the bus and finish the route at the initial meeting point.
