Roque de los Muchachos Hike

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your chosen meeting point. We will board a bus and travel along the road to Roque de los Muchachos, the highest point of the island.

We'll begin our hiking route through the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The trail follows the edge of the crater, offering views of astronomical observatories and the northern part of the island shrouded in clouds. Photographic opportunities abound.

During the tour, we will see various vegetation including cedars, laburnum, broom, pansies, and tajinastes. The hiking path crosses a basalt stone wall known as Roberto's Wall, associated with a unique legend.

The hike is approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) long and concludes at Pico de la Cruz, near Roque de los Muchachos. We will pause to enjoy the scenery and, weather permitting, take in views of El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the starting point after spending between 4 and 5 hours together.
