Roque de los Muchachos Hike

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your chosen meeting point. We will board a bus and head to Roque de los Muchachos, the highest point of the island.

After disembarking the minibus, we will begin our hiking route in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The trail runs along the crater's edge, featuring views of the astronomical observatories and the clouds covering the northern part of the island, ideal for photographs.

Throughout the tour, we will encounter various vegetation types, including cedars, laburnum, broom, pansies, and tajinastes. The hiking path also crosses Roberto's Wall, a site tied to a unique legend.

The hike, approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) long, will lead us to Pico de la Cruz, the closest point to Roque de los Muchachos. We will pause to enjoy the views, potentially including El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife, depending on the weather.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the starting point after spending between 4 and 5 hours together.
