Tour Overview

Our journey begins at the designated meeting point, located at the intersection of Calle Anselmo Pérez de Brito and Plaza Vandale. Are you prepared to immerse yourself in the local culture?

We will kick off our exploration by visiting the monument honoring the musicians of The Divines. From there, we’ll meander along Calle Real and Calle O'Daly, named after one of the island’s most notable Irish settlers.

Our next destination is El Salvador Church, where you can admire stunning flamenco tapestries that date back to the 16th century. Upon reaching Plaza de España, marvel at the impressive façade of the City Hall, noted for being the first in history to establish democratic governance through popular vote.

The tour will continue down Calle Anselmo Pérez de Brito, where the iconic Canarian balconies adorn the buildings of the historic district. Following this, we’ll pay a visit to Cruz del Tercero, a monument that remembers the island's conquest.

Next, we will make our way to Plaza de la Alameda to see the Monumento al Enano, a sculpture that references one of La Palma's most beloved festivals. Do you know which celebration it commemorates? We will uncover the answer! Additionally, we will view a replica of a galleon, known as Barco de la Virgen, which houses the Naval Museum.

As we conclude our journey, we will gather in front of Santa Catalina de Alejandría Castle, a key fortification in the history of La Palma's capital. After spending 2 enriching hours together, we will bid farewell and wrap up our adventure at the castle's entrance.
