Hershey Gardens Excursion by Motorbike

On this trip to Hershey Gardens from Playa Jibacoa, we will travel via a classic motorbike, a popular transport method in Cuba.

Description

We will meet at the Memories Jibacora Resort Hotel at Playa Jibacoa at the scheduled time. After a brief introduction to classic motorbikes, we'll ride 55 kilometres along Via Blanca, named for the white sandy beaches of northeast Havana.

Following an hour's drive through leafy groves, we will arrive at Hershey Gardens. We may hear the song of native birds such as the tocororo, and we will pause for photos along the way.

During the tour, we will discuss the history of how Milton Hershey, an American philanthropist, established the town and its gardens in the 1930s. This location is known as one of the most picturesque towns in Cuba.

Upon arrival, you will find crystal-clear waters. We will spend the morning swimming and enjoying the small waterfalls. A delicious picnic lunch will be provided at a local site afterwards.

In the afternoon, we will explore the area along a trail that is typically inaccessible to others. On foot, we will reach the cool waterfalls.

After seven hours, we will return to Playa Jibacoa to conclude our tour.
