Penedo Tour

History and nature combine perfectly on this excursion to Penedo. In this picturesque village in the state of Alagoas, we will also enjoy a boat trip on the São Francisco River to the river island of Recanto.

Penedo Tour

We'll depart at 5 am from your hotel in Maceió towards Penedo. Upon arrival, we will visit a centrally located café for breakfast. Once prepared, we will proceed to the town's dock for a boat ride on the Sao Francisco River, surrounded by natural scenery.

The trip concludes at Recanto Island, where you can enjoy a swim in the Sao Francisco River. After the swim, we will return by boat to the pier, followed by an hour for lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the river.

Post-lunch, a guided tour of the historic centre of Penedo will take place. The tour includes the façade of the Teatro Sete de Setembro and visits to the main churches, such as the church of Nossa Senhora das Cadenas.

We will return to your hotel in Maceió by 8 pm.
