Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Maceió at 8:30 am and board the minibus to set off for Frances beach, 40 kilometres to the south. The route will take us through the historic district of Jaragua, the Museum of Art and Sound, and the Brazilian Statue of Liberty.

After stops for photographs, we'll arrive at Praia do Frances, in Marechal Deodoro, known for its fine sand and crystal-clear sea. This beach was historically the port for pirate ships along the east coast of Brazil.

Next, we'll head to Barra de São Miguel, noted for the reefs that create a large natural pool, suitable for surfing and diving. We'll also see traditional rafts from the area.

We'll stop at the Kokal restaurant to enjoy some local food. Following this, we’ll visit Gunga beach, renowned for its unique mix of colors from the Atlantic Ocean and Roteiro Lake. You'll have free time to explore, relax, or visit the viewpoint.

At 3:30 pm, we'll begin our return to Maceió, with a possible stop at the Rendeiras neighbourhood for shopping. The tour concludes with arrival back at your hotel between 4:30 and 5 pm.
