If there is one thing we love about Portugal it's its typical multicoloured tiles. With this workshop you'll have the opportunity to decorate one yourself - you'll become a real artist!

Tile Decorating Workshop

At the scheduled time, we'll welcome you to the tile workshop located in Paços de Brandão, less than 15 minutes drive from Santa Maria da Feira.

We will begin with a brief introduction to the technique used by the craftsmen themselves, which has over five centuries of history. The Arabs were instrumental in making this type of decoration fashionable. Before starting, we will view pieces made by masters for inspiration in creating your design.

Are you ready to become a real tile artist? You will decorate your own tile, choosing one or multiple colors and opting for either abstract or figurative designs. This is an opportunity to test your imagination while having fun painting.

After completing your tile, we will place it in the kiln to fire while you enjoy a delicious snack.

If you wish, we can send the tiles to your home as a souvenir of the experience. After an hour and a half, we will conclude the workshop and say goodbye.
