Celebrating the Day of the Dead in Mexico is an unforgettable experience. Enjoy this festival during our tour of Huatulco on this significant night of the year.

Day of the Dead Evening Tour

In Mexico, the "final journey" is celebrated uniquely. We will pick you up at 7 pm from your hotel in Bahías de Huatulco. After a 40-minute bus ride, we will arrive in Santa María Huatulco for a walking tour exploring secrets and legends of the Day of the Dead celebration.

From late October to early November, Santa María Huatulco's streets showcase typical Day of the Dead decorations. We will see altars with skulls, skeletons, and portraits of late relatives, celebrating joyfully in memory of them.

During our walk, we will observe illuminated streets and churches. A visit to a local house will include tasting chocolate and bread traditionally enjoyed during this season, along with a drink of mezcal.

Our tour will also include a visit to the Municipal Pantheon. Here, we will witness how locals honor the deceased, accompanied by legends and stories that blur the line between the living and the dead. On this date, the souls of the departed are believed to return, reminding us of the transitory nature of life.

After concluding the tour, we will return to Bahías de Huatulco, arriving at your hotel around midnight.
