On this food tour of Huatulco, you will explore the flavours and culture of Oaxaca. The tour begins with a pickup at your hotel in Huatulco at 10 am.

We will travel to Piedra de Moros, a small community where we will visit an herbalist's shop. Here, you will learn about the significance of medicinal plants in the local culture.

You will also visit the plantation to understand each medicinal plant cultivated and their respective cures and uses.

The culinary segment includes a hands-on experience in making corn tortillas and traditional bread, paired with a refreshing lemon grass tea and insights into the nutritional properties of nopal cactus.

Following the cooking session, the tour will proceed to a mezcal factory where you will learn about the distillation process of this traditional Oaxacan drink. The tour concludes with a tasting of various mezcals and creams, accompanied by typical regional products.

We will return to your hotel in Huatulco around 2 pm to conclude the tour.
