“Para todo mal, mezcal, y para todo bien, también.” This saying celebrates mezcal for all occasions. The tour begins with a pickup at 9 am at your hotel in Huatulco, followed by a 40-minute drive north.

We'll arrive in Santa María Huatulco and visit an agave field to learn about the cultivation of the plant that produces mezcal. We will also explore the origins of this popular Mexican distillate.

The tour includes a hike up to Loma Bonita to observe the valley where agave plants grow, noting the favorable climatic conditions in Oaxaca.

Afterward, we will visit the palenque, where we will taste Oaxacan mezcals, including both traditional and medicinal varieties.

Lunch will consist of beans, white rice, and black and red mole with chicken (leg or thigh) along with coffee or fruit-flavored water, based on your preference.

We will conclude the tour and return to your hotel in Huatulco by 2 pm.
