Huatulco Mezcal Tour

This mezcal tour in Huatulco includes a visit to the agave fields that produce mezcal, one of Mexico's popular drinks, along with tastings of different varieties.

We will pick you up at 9 am at your hotel in Huatulco and head north for a 40-minute drive to Santa María Huatulco. There, we will visit an agave field to learn about cultivation and the origins of mezcal, a significant Mexican distillate.

Following this, we will hike to Loma Bonita to view the extensive valley of agave plants, noting the favorable climatic conditions in Oaxaca for this crop.

After enjoying the views, we will proceed to the palenque, where us will partake in a tasting of Oaxacan mezcals, which includes traditional and medicinal varieties.

Lunch will consist of beans, white rice, black and red mole with chicken (choice of leg or thigh), and a beverage of either coffee or fruit-flavored water, based on preference.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Huatulco, arriving at 2 pm.
