Enjoy the majesty of nature by visiting the Llano Grande waterfalls in the Sierra Madre del Sur, Oaxaca. Along with swimming in the waters, you will experience local food and artisan coffee.

Llano Grande Waterfalls Day Trip

Your tour begins with a pickup in Huatulco bay as we head to Llano Grande, a small village in the Sierra Madre with a population of 90.

During the tour, you will explore the jungle and observe the diverse flora and fauna that varies as we ascend the mountains.

After an hour and a half, we will reach a local farm where you will learn about the process of transforming coffee beans into coffee. This area is renowned for its coffee, and you will have the chance to taste freshly made coffee.

Following our visit to the farm, we will proceed to the Magic Copalitilla waterfall, which cascades down the hillside in tiers. You will have approximately an hour and a half of free time to swim in the clear waters near the falls.

Afterward, you can experience a traditional clay mask used by locals for skin rejuvenation. Back at the farm, you will sample typical local dishes, including mole negro, frijoles negros, carnitas de cerdo, and mezcal.

The excursion concludes with a return to your hotel in Huatulco bay.
