Oaxaca 2 Day Tour

Day 1: Huatulco - Oaxaca

Pick up at 6 am at your hotel in Huatulco; breakfast stop at Jalapa del Marqués. Visit the Mezcal Route, exploring Santiago Matatlán and San Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya with a 2-hour tour on mezcal production. Explore the archaeological site of Mitla, traditional rugs in Teotitlán del Valle, and the Santa María del Tule tree. Arrive in Oaxaca City at 3:30 pm, visit Santo Domingo de Guzmán and its museum. Return to hotel with the rest of the day free.

Day 2: Oaxaca - Huatulco

Depart from hotel at 8 am to Monte Albán archaeological zone. After the visit, return to Oaxaca for the Benito Juárez handicraft market. Visit San Bartolo Coyotepec for black clay figures, then San Antonio Arrazola or San Martin Tilcajete to learn about alebrijes. Lunch stop in San José del Pacífico at 4 pm. Depart for Huatulco with arrival scheduled for 8 pm.
