Puerto Escondido Day Trip

On this day trip to Puerto Escondido from Huatulco, you'll explore the local market, a chocolate factory, and the beaches.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Huatulco and embark on a 2-hour drive to Puerto Escondido.

Our first stop will be a local chocolate factory to discover the cacao process and enjoy a tasting of mezcal, cured meats, mole, sal de gusano, and chocolate. The visit will last about 30 minutes.

Next, we'll visit the Benito Juárez market, where you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to explore, take pictures, and purchase typical products and Oaxacan crafts.

You will have additional free time for lunch at a typical restaurant with options for regional cuisine, including seafood and Oaxacan mole.

After lunch, we'll go to Playa Carrizalillo for 1 hour of swimming and relaxation. Then, we will continue to Playa Zicatela for another hour, where you can walk on the sand or enjoy a drink.

You will also have the option to visit the Adoquín, or participate in a turtle release for an additional cost, before we return to Huatulco and conclude the tour after 11 hours.
