Make the most of your time in Cordoba to explore Alta Gracia, a town surrounded by nature. You'll discover an emblematic hotel, a Jesuit legacy, and enter the homes of two historical figures.

Day Trip to Alta Gracia

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cordoba, and head towards Alta Gracia, approximately 50 minutes away. On the way, we will stop at the Miryam Stefford Monument to learn about this actress.

In Alta Gracia, we will visit the Tajamar, an artificial lake created by the Jesuits, and the Jesuit Museum to understand their influence on the town and lifestyles of the monks. We will also explore the Archeological Museum.

Next, we'll walk around the centre of Alta Gracia to visit the church of Nuestra Señora de la Merced, and then proceed to Villa Nydia, the Che Guevara House Museum. We will explore the rooms where he grew up and view documents and a replica of his motorcycle from his trip across America.

Our tour continues to the house of Manuel de Falla, a Spanish composer who lived here in his final years. This home is now a museum containing personal objects, furniture, and sheet music.

The last stop will be at the Virgin of Lourdes Grotto, a site for prayer. We will return to Cordoba approximately four hours after pickup.
