Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba Tour
We will collect you from your hotel in Cordoba at 9 am to start our tour of the emblematic Society of Jesus buildings. The Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On this tour, you'll discover their cultural value and their relation with the history of Argentina.
Our first stop will be the city of Colonia Caroya to visit the Estancia Caroya Museum, which housed the monks in the 17th century.
Next, we will head to the Jesús María Estancia, where the Jesuit Estancia de San Isidro el Labrador is located, and learn about the mills and land the Jesuits used to make wine.
We will travel for another 30 minutes to reach the Santa Catalina Estancia, founded in 1622. Here, we'll continue learning about the Society of Jesus' way of life and admire a Baroque-style historical church.
