Discover the Jesuit legacy of Córdoba on this day trip to Jesús María and Colonia Caroya.
Description
After hotel pickup in Córdoba at the scheduled time, we will head to Colonia Caroya, a town known for its handmade sausages and historically inhabited by descendants of Italian immigrants. We will visit the Jesuit Estancia Casa de Caroya, a former summer residence for students of the school in Monserrat, where you will learn about the history of this educational institution.
Next, we will proceed to Jesús María, notable for the annual Dressage and Folklore Festival. Here, we will explore the Jesuit Estancia of San Isidro Labrador, one of the region's most significant sites. During the tour, we will share interesting facts, including its role in regional wine production. The influence of the Jesuits is still evident in many parts of Córdoba, and their monuments, recognized as a World Heritage Site, exemplify their enduring legacy.
At the conclusion of the trip, we will return to your hotel in Córdoba.
Hotel pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the city of Córdoba. If you are staying outside this area, we will meet you at Independencia 174, near the main square San Martin and the Cathedral of Córdoba.
