Tour Highlights

We’ll meet at the iconic Morabeza Hotel, the first accommodation built on Sal Island, to start our tour through Santa Maria.

The journey begins with a stroll down the vibrant main street, lined with bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops. We will then proceed to the North zone to discuss the first houses built in the city.

The tour continues at the bustling Municipal Market and a stop at the Municipal Fountain, where locals collect water for homes without running services.

Next, we’ll visit the Salt Museum, exploring the history of the salt industry that named the island. Finally, we’ll wrap up at the famous Pontao de Santa María.

After 3 hours of exploring, learning, and enjoying Santa Maria, we'll conclude the tour and say our goodbyes.
