Villa Carlos Paz Trip

  • 4 Stunden

See the famous Cuckoo Clock and other fascinating surprises in Villa Carlos Paz when you take this trip from Córdoba. You will discover a beautiful corner of Argentina on the shores of Lake San Roque!

Villa Carlos Paz Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cordoba at the scheduled time before heading west to Villa Carlos Paz. Along the way, we will pass the barracks of the Argentine Army until reaching the town of La Calera. Here, you will hear the story about how the town earned its name.

The trip continues, crossing the Suquía River Gorge, which runs into Sierras Chicas mountains. We will follow the Camino de las Usinas track, named after the hydroelectric plants established in the area during the 19th century. These plants are located at the San Roque reservoir, which became the largest dam in the world.

We drive along the so-called 100-Curve Road to Villa Carlos Paz. Upon arrival, we will explore the town on foot, with the highlight being the Cuckoo clock, built in 1958, where you will learn about its history.

You can also choose to ascend the Villa Carlos Paz chairlift (not included) for spectacular views. Finally, we return to your hotel in Córdoba around four hours after pickup.

Hotel pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the city of Cordoba. If you're staying outside this area, we'll meet at Independencia 174, near the main square San Martin and the Cathedral of Cordoba.
