Villa Carlos Paz Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cordoba at the scheduled time before heading west to Villa Carlos Paz. Along the way, we will pass the barracks of the Argentine Army until reaching the town of La Calera. Here, you will learn about the town's name origin.
Our trip continues, crossing the Suquía River Gorge into Sierras Chicas mountains. We will follow the Camino de las Usinas track, named after the hydroelectric plants established in the 19th century, located at the San Roque reservoir, which became the largest dam in the world.
Next, we drive along the 100-Curve Road to Villa Carlos Paz. Once we arrive at the town on the shores of Lake San Roque, we will explore it on foot. The highlight here is the Cuckoo Clock, built in 1958, where you will learn about its history.
After this, you can choose to ascend the Villa Carlos Paz chairlift (not included), which offers spectacular views. Finally, we return to your hotel in Córdoba about four hours after pickup.
