Unleash your adventurous side abseiling in waterfalls in the Minca River and enjoy a hiking route through the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta. We will travel by minibus to the mountainous countryside of the Magdalena region for a full day of adventure.

Before reaching the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, we will stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the view of the Caribbean Sea.

Upon arrival, we will have coffee with chocolate bread before starting a 45-minute hiking route through the rainforest called Vereda Montecristo.

During the hike, we will relax to the sound of birds and see coffee plantations in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta before reaching a beautiful waterfall in the Minca River, which is over 100 meters tall (330 feet).

Next, we will go abseiling, following basic safety instructions. The abseiling activity at the Minca River waterfalls will last about 15 minutes, depending on your skills. We will descend approximately 40 meters (130 feet) to a pool for a refreshing dip.

We will also provide a lunch that includes salad, a main dish with a side, and a drink. After feeling refreshed, we will begin our hike back.

To conclude, we will visit a coffee and cocoa museum. After 9 hours of activities, we will return to Santa Marta and drop you off at your hotel.
