Abseiling in the Minca River Waterfalls

Unleash your adventurous side abseiling in waterfalls in the Minca River and enjoy a hiking route through the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Description

At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta and start the journey to the mountainous countryside of the Magdalena region for a full day of adventure.

Before reaching the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, we will stop at a viewpoint for a view of the Caribbean Sea.

Upon arrival, we'll have a coffee with chocolate bread to fuel up before a hiking route through the rainforest. This walk, known as Vereda Montecristo, will take about 45 minutes.

During our exploration of the Colombian Rainforest, we will hear birds singing and see coffee plantations before arriving at a more than 100 meters tall (330 feet) waterfall in the Minca River.

Next, we will go abseiling after receiving basic safety instructions. The abseiling will last about 15 minutes, depending on individual skills, and we will descend approximately 40 meters (130 feet) to a pool for a refreshing dip.

A delicious lunch will be provided, including salad, a main dish with a side, and a drink. After lunch, we will hike back and visit a coffee and cocoa museum. After 9 hours of activities, we'll return to Santa Marta and drop you off at your hotel.
