Join us on our day trip to Barranquilla and discover one of the popular cities in Colombia, known for its vibrant culture and traditions.

Barranquilla Day Trip

We will pick you up at 6:30 am from your accommodation in Santa Marta and head to Barranquilla, located approximately 2 hours away.

Upon arrival, we will tour the El Prado neighbourhood, recognized for its application of modern urban planning. We will pause in front of the Amira de la Rosa Theatre, named after the lyricist of Barranquilla's anthem.

Next, we will visit the Plaza de la Aduana, the entry point to the city centre. We will stroll through the narrow streets to view the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Museum of the Caribbean.

We will then arrive at the Cumbiódromo, a gathering place for locals and visitors during the Carnival of Barranquilla, which is the most significant folkloric event in Colombia.

After a complete day, we will return to Santa Marta, dropping you off at your hotel by 2:30 pm.
