Barranquilla Day Trip

We'll pick you up at 6:30 am from your accommodation in Santa Marta and travel to Barranquilla, approximately 2 hours away.

Upon arrival, we will tour the El Prado neighbourhood, known for its modern urban planning and elegant houses. We will stop at the façade of the Amira de la Rosa Theatre, named after the lyricist of Barranquilla's anthem.

Next, we will visit Plaza de la Aduana, the gateway to the city centre. We will stroll through the narrow streets to see the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Museum of the Caribbean.

We will proceed to the Cumbiódromo, where the annual Carnival of Barranquilla takes place, considered Colombia's most important folkloric event.

After a day of exploration, we will return to Santa Marta and drop you off at your hotel by 2:30 pm.
