Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta Day Trip

At 6:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta and head to the western part of the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta by minibus. We will first visit the mouth of the Sevilla River to observe exotic birds, particularly cormorants. If conditions are favorable, we may also spot Northern screamers, an endangered species vital to the local ecosystem. Additionally, we will explore the mangroves surrounding the lagoon, which are characteristic of the area. At midday, a traditional lunch featuring fresh local fish will be provided. Afterward, we will return by minibus to your hotel in Santa Marta, arriving around 2:30 pm.
