At 5.30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the dock of Islas del Rosario. From there, we will take a boat ride through the Cienaga Grande de Santa Marta, a World Biosphere Reserve located a few kilometers from Cienaga.

You will have the opportunity to admire the varied vegetation and wildlife, lush trails, and lagoons in the area. Along these lagoons, small fishing villages known as ''pueblitos palafitos'' (small stilt housing villages) will be visible.

We will stop in one of these villages to learn about the lifestyle of its people and their ancestral customs. After, we will enjoy a traditional meal based on fish or vegetables to experience the local cuisine.

Finally, we will return to the minibus and start our way back to Santa Marta, arriving at 2.30 pm.
