Cienaga Stilt Housing Day Trip

At 5.30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the dock of Islas del Rosario. From here, we'll enjoy a boat ride through the Cienaga Grande de Santa Marta, a World Biosphere Reserve, located a few kilometers from Cienaga.

You'll have the chance to admire the vegetation and wildlife, trails of greenery, and lagoons of the swamp. Along these lagoons, you'll see small fishing villages known as ''pueblitos palafitos''.

Our tour will stop in one of these villages to learn about the lifestyle of its people and their ancestral customs. Afterward, we'll enjoy a traditional meal based on fish or vegetables to explore the local cuisine.

Lastly, we'll return to Santa Marta, arriving at 2.30 pm.
