Laguna Encantada Tour

Join us for a visit to the hidden corners of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta with a trip to Laguna Encantada. The itinerary includes a hiking experience and a visit to Mendihuaca Beach.

Description

We will pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta at the specified time to begin our journey to Laguna Encantada. After boarding the minibus, we will travel over an hour through the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta towards the Mendihuaca River, the source of Laguna Encantada. We will then disembark for a hiking route that follows the river.

This hour-long hike allows you to appreciate the local fauna and flora while enjoying Colombia's nature and viewing a waterfall. Upon reaching Laguna Encantada, we will learn about its significance from the Kogi people and interact with one of their spiritual leaders.

You will have one hour to swim in the lagoon before we begin our return journey. After leaving Laguna Encantada, we will head to Mendihuaca Beach for a picnic with stunning views.

The entire tour lasts approximately nine hours, and we will return you to your hotel at the end.
