Laguna Encantada Tour

Join us on a visit to one of the hidden corners of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta on this trip to Laguna Encantada. We'll take a hike and visit Mendihuaca Beach.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta at the designated time to start our trip to Laguna Encantada. Aboard the minibus, we'll travel through the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta towards the Mendihuaca River, which feeds Laguna Encantada. The road journey lasts over an hour, after which we will hike to the spring.

The hike will follow the river for an hour, allowing you to admire the local fauna and flora and experience Colombia's nature. A waterfall will be included in the route.

Upon arrival at Laguna Encantada, we will engage with The Kogi people and learn about the origin of the lagoon's name. You will have one hour to swim in the lagoon before beginning our return journey. We will then head to Mendihuaca Beach for a picnic with scenic views.

After a nine-hour trip, we will drop you back at your hotel.
