Experience the enchanting town of Minca & its surroundings on this day trip, where you'll embark on a journey through the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, swim amidst the lush rainforest, and immerse yourself in indigenous culture. Plus, delight in the flavors of Colombian coffee and chocolate.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, our team will pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta, and we'll make our way to Minca, a village at the base of the Sierra Nevada. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes.

Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a cup of coffee and delve into the coffee-making process. Coffee, a globally loved beverage, will be explored in detail.

The next stop will be the heart of the tropical forest, where you'll swim in the Minca River and have the chance to plunge into a nearby waterfall. Following these activities, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterward, we'll visit the town of Minca to learn about the transformation of cocoa beans, from bean to bar. We'll sample various cocoa beans and learn to craft your chocolate bar.

Finally, we'll enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from a viewpoint before returning to Santa Marta. We will arrive back at your hotel approximately 9 hours after your initial pickup.
