Day Trip Details

At the designated time, our team will pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta, and we'll make our way to Minca, a charming village nestled at the base of the Sierra Nevada. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes.

Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a cup of coffee and explore the coffee-making process. Following this, we'll head to the tropical forest for a refreshing swim in the Minca River and the chance to dive into the turquoise waters of a nearby waterfall. After these activities, there will be a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, we'll explore the town of Minca and learn about the transformation of cocoa beans, including opportunities to sample various beans and craft your own chocolate bar.

Additionally, we will pass by landmarks such as Casa Jocolate, the Perpetuo Socorro Church, the Minca Bridge, and the Oído del Mundo waterfall.

Finally, we’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from a viewpoint before returning to Santa Marta, arriving back at your hotel approximately 9 hours after pickup.
