At 8 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta and drive to Zona Bananera, recognized for its vast fruit plantations.

We will visit locations such as Riofrío, Orihueca, and Sevilla, where large banana plantations will provide insights into the growth process of this fruit.

Additionally, we will explore other areas dedicated to banana cultivation and discuss the significant impact of the arrival of the railway and banana plantations on this region of Colombia.

Our next stop will be the United Fruit Company factory, where we will tour the facilities and learn about the cultivation and exportation of Colombian bananas.

Following our factory visit, we will enjoy a typical Colombian lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a selection of local delicacies, many of which include fruits from Zona Bananera as key ingredients.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Santa Marta, expecting to arrive around 4 pm.
