Santander Bay Boat Trip
At your chosen time, we'll meet on the promenade and walk to the quay to set off on a boat trip around Santander Bay.
During the boat trip, you'll enjoy views while a Spanish-speaking skipper explains the history of various sites. One of the first sights is Magdalena Palace, constructed in the early 20th century as a gift for King Alfonso XIII.
Next, we will visit El Sardinero, known for its long beaches, and then move towards Cape Mayor and Santa Marina Island, gliding along the coastline of nearby municipalities such as Loredo and Somo, which feature extensive sandy beaches surrounded by nature.
The tour will also include views of the docks for ferries connecting the Cantabrian capital with several English port cities, and we'll pass by the Botín Centre, designed by architect Renzo Piano, which has become a symbol of Santander.
After 1 hour of sailing, we'll return to the starting point.
