The Santander sightseeing bus offers a convenient way to explore this scenic city on Spain's north coast with the flexibility to get on and off at your leisure.

Route and Stops

The hop-on hop-off bus features 9 stops and a 40-minute route. This double-decker open-topped bus allows you to visit key tourist areas while enjoying recorded commentary in English about the sights. Notable stops include Sardinero beach, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Ascension, Puerto Chico, the Maritime Museum, and the Magdalena Palace.

Important: Stop 3 is currently out of service due to construction.

How it Works

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from first use, allowing unlimited rides during that period. You will select a start date when booking, but you can use the service within 12 months from that date.

Magdalena Sightseeing Train

The ticket includes a ride on the sightseeing train around the Magdalena Peninsula. This 20-minute panoramic tour provides views of the Magdalena Palace, with an audio guide offering insights about the area. The ticket grants a return trip on the train and unlimited use of the tourist bus for 24 hours.

Schedule and Timetable

The Santander hop-on hop-off bus operates from 10 am to 7 pm, with departures every 35 minutes on weekends and every 75 minutes Monday to Friday. The Magdalena sightseeing train runs from 10 am to 2 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:20 pm with a frequency of 20 minutes.
