Valles Pasiegos Food Tour
We will leave Santander at the designated time and head to Santoña, a key fishing port of the Cantabrian Sea, known for its anchovy production. Upon arrival, we will visit Conservas Emilia to learn about the anchovy production process.
Next, we will visit Noja, where the Bodegas Vidular vineyard is located. We will tour the vineyard and learn about their wine production, followed by a wine and cheese tasting.
Continuing our tour through the Valles Pasiegos region, we will stop at a local restaurant for the daily menu. After lunch, we will walk to the Braguía viewpoint for views of the surrounding mountains and the Vega de Pas.
We will then visit Selaya, known for sobaos and quesadas. We will explore the facilities of the Sobaos Joselín factory, the largest maker of cheese and sobaos in the region, including a museum. Tasting these pastries will conclude our visit.
After enjoying these treats, we will return to Santander, expected to arrive by around 7:15 pm.
