On our Maicá Lake Tour, you'll set off from Alter do Chão to explore the natural beauty of Brazil's Pará region.

If you'd like to see a natural fish hatchery, we'll meet you at 9 am at the Tourist Information Centre in Alter do Chão. Just steps away, we will board the boat to Maicá Lake.

During the trip on the Tapajós River, we will pass by Piranhas Lake, Ponta do Cururu, Moça Beach, Crocodile Lake, and Ponta de Pedras, with an opportunity for swimming. Next, we will visit Lake Tapari and Lake Negro, making stops for photos of the Amazon.

At 1 pm, we will stop at the Casa do Saulo restaurant for a traditional lunch. After lunch, we will go to the meeting point of the Tapajós and Amazon Rivers to observe the pink Amazon River dolphin.

Continuing our journey, we will arrive at Maicá Lake, where we will navigate slowly to spot wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, iguanas, various tropical fish, alligators, and lush greenery.

As we return to Alter do Chão, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The tour ends with a drop-off back at the meeting point around 7 pm.
