We will meet up at the time of your choice in the Garden of the Republic to begin a guided tour of Santarém, a route that will lead us to significant places!

We will walk through the Gothic capital of Portugal until we reach the church of Santo Milagro, associated with an event from 1266. Near this church is the Santa Maria da Graça, where we will see the tomb of Pedro Álvarez Cabral, the discoverer of Brazil.

We will also pass the convent of São João de Alporão and the 70-foot high Pumpkin Tower, a designated National Monument. Here, you will learn about the origin of its name.

Afterward, we will stroll through the medieval gate of São Tiago and arrive at the Portas do Sol garden, where remnants of the old Muslim citadel wall can be found. The panoramic views of the Tagus River from the viewpoint will impress you.

After a two-hour experience, our tour will conclude at Portas do Sol.
