Walk the final stage of the French Way of the Camino de Santiago, trekking from Lavacolla and Monte do Goza to the famed Praza do Obradoiro.

Camino de Santiago: The Final Stage

After meeting at the scheduled time on Rúa de Tras Salomé, you'll board a vehicle to Lavacolla. In Lavacolla, you'll receive a hat, a trekking pole, and a map for the final section of the Camino de Santiago.

Starting from the church in Lavacolla, head towards Monte do Gozo, where you will see the cathedral in Santiago. Your guide will provide explanations about the route and the history, highlighting figures that represent Pope John Paul II, and sculptures of pilgrims pointing towards Santiago.

After the briefing at Monte do Gozo, continue your trek to Santiago. Meet your guide again at the Praza do Obradoiro. A certificate will be provided to confirm the completion of this stage of the Camino. The tour concludes at the Holy Door of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela after a trek lasting 3 to 3.5 hours.

The guide will accompany you at Lavacolla, Monte do Gozo, and Praza do Obradoiro to share historical insights. However, the trek between these points, covering 6.2 miles of the Camino de Santiago, is to be completed alone without guide assistance. The certificate provided at the end is not an official document of distance or completion, as issued by the official Pilgrim's Reception Office.
