Cheese & Wine Tasting in Santiago

Activity Details

We'll meet at Rúa das Casas Reais at the designated time. From there, we'll walk together through the picturesque streets of Santiago de Compostela's old town to the venue for the tasting.

Upon arrival, the culinary experience will begin with a detailed explanation of the Galician cheeses and wines included in the tasting.

The session will cover Galicia's cheese-making tradition, focusing on the traits and elaboration processes of each of the 5 cheeses selected for the tasting. You will sample a variety of cheeses ranging from mild and creamy to intense and cured.

Alongside the cheeses, you will enjoy a tasting of three Galician wines. During the tasting, aspects such as the origin, grape varieties, and wine-making techniques will be discussed to highlight their unique flavors.

You will also learn to identify the aroma and flavor notes in these wines. By the end of the tasting, you will have gained valuable knowledge.

Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1.5 hours later, we'll conclude the experience at the entrance of the store.
