Day Trip Details

We'll depart from the meeting point of your choice in Santiago de Compostela at the scheduled time. After traveling for around 30 minutes, we'll arrive at the village of Ponte Maceira, where you'll hear about its history and inhabitants.

Next, we head to the coastal town of Muxia to visit the Virxe da Barca sanctuary, overlooking the ocean while revealing local history, legends, and mysteries. During the visit, we will learn about the Pedras d'Abalar and Dos Cadrís.

Our route continues along the Costa da Morte to the lighthouse of Cape Finisterre, sharing folk tales about boats that disappeared along this coastline. You will have 1.5 - 2 hours of free time for lunch in the town of Fisterra.

After lunch, we'll stop in the village of Muros and then take a walk to the Ézaro waterfall, an impressive natural spectacle caused by the Xallas River. We will also see the world's largest hórreo (granary) in Carnota.

Finally, we'll head back to Santiago de Compostela through la Ría de Muros and the famous Costa da Morte.
