Camino de Santiago: The Final Stage

Meet at the scheduled time on Rúa de Tras Salomé and board a vehicle to Lavacolla. In Lavacolla, you will receive a hat, a trekking pole, and a map to undertake the final section of the Camino de Santiago. You will trek independently through the picturesque surroundings.

Departing from the church in Lavacolla, head towards Monte do Gozo. At this point, you will see the cathedral in Santiago. Your guide will provide information about the route and the site's history. You will also see representations of Pope John Paul II and two statues of pilgrims pointing to Santiago.

After the explanation at Monte do Gozo, continue to Santiago. Your guide will meet you at the Praza do Obradoiro to provide historical details about the square and present you with a certificate of completion for this stage of the Camino. The entire trek lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.

The guide will be present at Lavacolla, Monte do Gozo, and Praza do Obradoiro to share information. However, the trek between these points (6.2 miles) is completed independently. The certificate provided is not an official Certificate of Distance or completion from the Pilgrim's Reception Office.
