Tour to Muxía and Fisterra
At the specified time, we will meet at Rúa dos Bautizados in Santiago de Compostela. From there, we will board a bus to start the excursion to Muxía and Fisterra.
Our first stop will be the lighthouse of Fisterra, built in the mid-19th century, located at the viewpoint of the End of the World and the supposed kilometer 0 of the Camino de Santiago. After an hour of exploring the area, we will take a bus to the town of Fisterra, where you will have an hour and 15 minutes of free time to have lunch and explore. You can stroll around the port, visit the 12th-century church of Nuestra Señora de las Arenas, or admire the façade of the castle of San Carlos.
Next, we will continue to Muxía. Accompanied by our guide, we will visit the sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca, which is connected to the Camino de Santiago. We'll discuss its history and the significance of the large stones next to the temple.
We will conclude the excursion by returning to the starting point approximately 6.5 hours later.
