Tour to Muxía and Fisterra
We will meet at Rúa dos Bautizados in Santiago de Compostela and board a bus for our excursion to Muxía and Fisterra. Our first stop will be the lighthouse of Fisterra, built in the 19th century, located at the viewpoint of the End of the World, which is also the supposed kilometer 0 of the Camino de Santiago.
After exploring for approximately one hour, we will continue to the town of Fisterra, where you will have 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to have lunch and explore. Recommended activities include strolling around the port, visiting the 12th-century church of Nuestra Señora de las Arenas, or viewing the façade of the castle of San Carlos.
Next, we will travel to Muxía, where a guide will lead us to the sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca, discussing its connection to the Camino de Santiago and the significance of the large stones near the temple.
We will conclude the excursion and return to the starting point 6.5 hours after departure.
