Pick up begins at 10 am at your hotel in Santiago del Estero. The tour proceeds to the Boca del Tigre neighborhood, home to the patio of Indio Froilán, named after José Froilán González, a renowned luthier. Here, participants will learn to make the 'bombo legüero' (bass drum), an important instrument in Santiago del Estero's traditional music.

The making process of the 'bombo legüero' will be demonstrated, utilizing a brazier and a blackened kettle, essential for crafting a quality musical instrument.

A traditional lunch will follow in the courtyard, featuring tamales or empanadas accompanied by a typical dessert. Beverages offered include a glass of wine or soda.

Food & Dance Workshop Tour

An additional option includes a food and dance workshop, allowing for a deeper engagement with the region's folklore. Participants will prepare the aforementioned lunch.

Post-lunch, a dance class will be conducted, focusing on typical Santiago dances such as chacareras and gatos. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel four hours after pickup.
