Day Trip to Cajón del Maipo

On this day trip to Cajón del Maipo from Santiago de Chile, we'll explore the El Yeso Reservoir, a reserve located among mountains in the Andes.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Santiago and travel through Cajón del Maipo. The first stop is Plaza San José de Maipo, a town recognized as a National Monument for its colonial buildings, where you can experience local culture. Next, we will visit Cajón del Maipo Gorge, known for its Andean landscapes with stunning blue waters and surrounding mountains.

We will proceed to the El Yeso Dam, situated at 2,500 meters (8,202 ft) above sea level, offering panoramic views with turquoise waters and snow-capped peaks. This location highlights the beauty of the Andean landscape.

Our final stop will be at La Casa de Chocolate for a treat before concluding our tour.

We will return to the starting point 10 hours after the initial pickup time.
